There are a lot of new things in the works at Hidden River, and we’ll be posting more about each of these as they unfold.
First, Cheryl Romo has been named our latest Eludia Award winner. Read about her here.
Other news: we are working to expand our workshops and classes, and will be offering more online courses in an even greater variety of genres, with some exciting new focus and approaches. Stay tuned for the announcements.
We are also working to develop a series of exciting transformational arts retreats, some of which will be in our Philadelphia area, and others which will be travel retreats in a variety of places internationally — cities in areas of Europe or in Latin America which are cultural centers of art, music, literature where we will work with local artists. The world is an exciting place, and as it becomes more and more possible to create a global arts community, Hidden River wants to help our artists to be part of the building and the networking.
There will be more activity on a variety of platforms, like our youtube channel. We’ll be podcasting interviews, readings, craft discussions and book reviews.
We’re working to design and launch a yearly arts conference — an interdisciplinary event that brings together writers, musicians, visual artists and transdisciplinary artists.
Exciting plans, lots of energy and growth — so stay tuned as we share our efforts and launches with you!
